The European division of a major global manufacturer have a new role for an Finance/Export Assistant. Working as an Finance/Export Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of exports across different regions.
The role involves export documentation management which will include forecasting orders and price maintenance which will include liaising with other areas of the business to obtain pricing and applying exchange rates
Forecast part ordering
To ensure the smooth running of all exports
Responsible for pricing maintenance, invoicing and PO’s
Creating orders and follow through documentation
Liaise with external parties such as Tax Authorities for relevant documentation
Using SAP and Excel
The ideal candidate will have strong administration skills, preferably from a financial background or a graduate with an accountancy, economics or business finance degree with a minimum of 6 months experience. Articulate and confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to plan and prioritise to work to deadlines. Due to the nature of the role a knowledge SAP is essential and experience with export documentation is an advantage.
An excellent opportunity to work with a group of talented experts within a successful and world recognised brand. Initially a 6-month contract with a possible extension and the opportunity at the end of the assignment to apply for other roles within the organisation.
