Are you a key account or sales professional, with a desire to focus on nurturing and developing current relationships and less of a focus on new business development? Are you proactive and driven with strong influencing skills?

This key account executive position offers the chance to work with a well-known brand name, where you will be working with existing customers and taking responsibility for channel categories.

Key Responsibilities Include

Development and presentation of an activity plan, with a key focus on meeting the needs of the customer.
Analysis of Key Accounts with a focus on developing these to increase categories and products known by the customer.
Working with the senior sales team to maximise returns on product categories.

Developing relationships with contacts in Key Accounts and growing the list of contacts in each account.
Working as part of a team to deliver sales support activities, exhibitions, catalogue optimisation and delivery of sample campaigns.
Development, presentation and management of promotions within the channel.
General administration including reporting and completion of contact reports and customer feedback sheets.


The ideal candidate will have sales/account management experience, ideally in a field sales role. You will be comfortable presenting to customers face to face and delivering product training to groups of people. As well as this you will be a self-starter, with the ability to self-motivate, as you will be office based for 2 days a week with the rest out with clients (or home based after 6 months).

Strong influencing skills and a tenacious attitude are essential. Strong analytical skills would also beneficial, as you will be identifying and developing opportunities for growth within each account.
