A global company based in Surrey are going through a huge transformation due to their move to Surrey in a few months and are looking for a Qualified Financial Controller who has proven leadership skills and who can build a finance division, reporting to senior management. This role would suit someone looking for a rewarding challenge and development in a large company.
Main purpose of this role:
To ensure the financial records of the company and the finance systems are maintained to a high standard
To identify associated risks within the business and proactively suggest / introduce controls as necessary
To manage external stakeholder relationships including auditors, HMRC, banks, FCA and other regulatory bodies
To ensure all internal and regulatory reporting is correct and timely
Manage and develop Finance team to perform to high standards and meet department objectives.
The ideal person for this role will have a professional accounting qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with at least 5 Years post qualification experience. Technical knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102. Good analytical skills and experienced on large ERP systems. (SAP knowledge desirable)
This role requires someone who has the ability to operate under pressure and meet time critical deadlines, good communication/interpersonal skills and experience of managing large teams.
