A professional high-end Optical Retail business have a new role for a Finance Manager to join their friendly established team in a beautiful remote semi-rural location.
Based at their Head Office with extensive liaison to their retail sites, the ideal candidate for this opportunity will have experience of management accounting and reporting for SME’s and ideally from within the Retail industry.
Reporting into the Business Owner, you will have responsibility for the day to accounting and payroll, ensuring accounts meet statutory requirements, and are run in an efficient and effective way.
Through running an efficient automated and paperless finance function, you will ensure that the companies financial systems, processes and procedures are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
Ideally you will be qualified or part-qualified accountant but most importantly a good attitude, flexible and willing approach together with previous relevant experience within a similar SME business would you make a strong candidate for this role.
It’s essential that you take a pride in your work and have an excellent eye for detail. You should also be IT savvy with advanced level Excel skills, SAGE payroll and good communication to work well with the business owner and the small head office team who work closely together. Commercial awareness, an interest to learn about the Optical industry and a “Can Do” positive & willing attitude is essential.
This role is based in semi-rural beautiful offices close to Egham and Ascot with on-site parking so you must be a car driver.
