As the Compliance Manager you will be supporting all departments ensuring that the compliance program across the UK is relevant and in line with current EU regulations and laws.
Be the first point of contact for the Data Protection Officer and ensure all policies are up to date and in line with business needs.
Champion Competition Law and advise the wider business of all aspects of the law such as Modern Slavery & Anti-bribery Corruption. You will conduct investigations alongside reviewing all policies and procedures mitigating risks to the business.
Monitor processes for all compliance risks ensuring that they are effective and that the wider business is following what has been agreed.
Communicate effectively across the wider business ensuring a sound understanding from all departments and key Stakeholders.
Work in collaboration with the EU Regional Legal Counsel ensuring a strong working relationship is established.
You will be assertive, resilient and able to conduct a process efficiently. You will have a particular focus on Competition Law, GDPR, the UK Bribery and Modern Slavery Acts – demonstrable experience with these areas is essential! As the Compliance manager you will have the ability to identify, prevent and detect compliance risks before they become escalated issues.
Experience within Intellectual Property would also be advantageous but not essential.
