Signet Resources was founded in 2003 with the express purpose of providing high quality resourcing solutions to companies of any size. When the business formed it was done on the premise of ‘Resourcing with integrity’ and that has been our mantra from our beginnings to the current day.
We opened our doors for business in Maidenhead back in 2003 with the ambition of servicing the wide variety of organisations situated along the Thames Valley Corridor, although many of our clients work with us nationally.
Putting ourselves at the heart of this area was a smart move as this part of the country has experienced very strong commercial development, helping fuel the growth of Signet Resources into one of the most well-respected recruitments businesses in the South East. Over the last 15 years we’ve had the great fortune to help companies large and small meet their recruitment needs as well as helping talented people find careers they are genuinely passionate about.
Our reason for starting Signet Resources was born out of the fact that, as ethical, experienced recruitment professionals, we felt as a boutique business we could provide a more tailored, bespoke approach.
We believed that recruitment should be much more than just a CV service where client A is linked to candidate B and they’re left to get on with it. To us that felt too weak, too random and too often left both sides frustrated with the whole process
We sought to add a much deeper and more useful role into the recruitment mix, working with candidates to help them find roles that would achieve their career goals and helping clients develop the right criteria to find people to bring genuine added value to their businesses. By helping both parties identify what they’re really looking for it makes for a much higher likelihood of finding the right match.
When we started out our focus was on permanent Head Office support roles but over the years we have become specialists in HR, Marketing, Finance, Commercial Operations and Automotive roles for permanent, retained assignments, interim and contract capacities.
Overall, I had a very good experience. I was very happy with the time frame and attention given to me and the process. I was briefed well, on potential negative things on the company as well as the positive. I appreciated the honesty and this to me demonstrated the depth of experience that Nicky had, which fostered trust. Feedback, from the company I interviewed with and from me was followed up, and I was kept informed on any delays that came up. The initial call from Siobhan Shrieve was not just engaging but extremely informative. The follow up meeting with Vanessa Pegg was again very professional.
