Our client is a well established developer, investor and operator of Public Sector Infrastructure Assets in the UK and Globally. As a Commercial Bid Manager within the Leading Service division of the business who provide consultancy and direct services from bidding through to project initiation, design and operational services you will play a key part in the launch and pioneering of a full suite of Library Services for local authority.

The Role:
A new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Bid Manager to drive forward growth by the full management of the bid process to the very niche Library Services industry.
Responsibilities:
A challenging and diverse opportunity where you will focus on the local authority outsourced service provision market across the UK. You will be responsible for researching, identifying and actively generating new business opportunities. Taking ownership of the bidding process, you'll establish budgets, control expenditure and manage the entire bid programme through to project completion. Key to success in the role will be your ability to develop a true partnership approach with potential clients as you build an in-depth understanding of their needs.
You will need to develop a network of contacts to improve market knowledge, confidently manage new business and lead a complex bid process through to successful project completion.
Skills Required:
Along with Bid Management experience, you'll ideally have an understanding of local authority outsourcing and decision making processes. Highly motivated and results-driven, you must also have strong presentation, negotiation and project management skills. The ability to prioritise a busy workload is important, along with a full driving licence and flexibility to travel to clients throughout the UK. Strong commercial awareness, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to forge business relationship is essential.
