Initially a 3 month contract, this leadership position works closely with the Director - Total Rewards and outside service providers and advisors to manage employee benefits, retirement, and live well programs. The position takes a direct role in administering plans with strong governance, ease of access, and communication. The role maximises the utilisation of external sources to affect internal decisions on plan designs, administration, reporting, systems, and other back-office operations. The position also drives strategic initiatives including the introduction of consumer driven plans, revision of the live well program, and acts as project leader for M&A transition work along with HR Technology team.



Responsibilities:


Work closely with benefits broker on benefit plan design, valuation, choices, access, and administration across all medical, dental, life, disability and ancillary plans in the US.

Work closely with international advisors on all international benefits offerings. Take a lead role in ensuring the competitiveness of supplementary plans, and all compliance matters, renewals, and administration in foreign locations.

Work closely with finance on managing benefits accruals for self-ensured plans

Take a lead role in 401(k) compliance, communications, and administration. Work with outside vendors to proactively address ongoing retirement plan issues.

Work closely with HR Operations and Technology team to maximise back office administration and vendor interface and data issues across all benefits plans internationally. Take a lead role in providing content for self-service and access to plans to ensure effective communications through HR portal.

Act as leader on benefits governance issues including all plan compliance and documentation needed to satisfy regulatory needs and audit concerns.

Act as Project Manager for M&A, on-boarding for benefits, and other HR matters

Drive wellness initiatives from selection of new programs and vendors, to effective communications, usage and translate that wellness back into new benefits plan designs and modifications.

Analyse and drive the design of consumer driven options into the medical plan. Participate in the governance and investment review process for 401(k) plan, including concepts such as auto enrollment and escalation of contributions. Work closely with finance and HR on stock plan administration and communications. Possible replacement of payroll for these services.

Complete a total review of the international benefit offering by country. Go further than just the design, layout gaps in administration, governance, documentation, or data tracking needs. Balance any changes with market based designs by working with international benefits advisors.



4-6 years relevant experience managing benefit programs in high growth, transformational environments

Experience in technology firms, such as software, life science, or services preferred.

Experience managing plans globally including a relative match of PF locations is a big positive.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Polish to present to all levels of employees.

Effective project management skills for future M&A leadership role.
