HR Manager

Our client is a leading European business with a strong established brand in the Leisure industry and they are looking to recruit a HR Manager to cover a maternity leave. A HR Generalist role with a strong emphasis on Employee Relations and Training & Development. You will be leading a small HR team whilst providing generalist support and advice to management and delivering training courses and initiatives throughout the business. Based in central Maidenhead in modern offices, you will enjoy a buzzy fast moving environment where ownership and credibility is absolutely essential.
Main Responsibilities
Handling staff grievances and supporting managers with disciplinaries
Producing and delivering training and development programmes
Provide training, coaching and development to staff and management team
Management of NVQ learning programmes
Working with the Development Teams with internal work initiatives
Recruitment and Selection
Carrying out Training Needs Analysis
Management of the appraisal and induction processes.
Deliver team building days
A diverse and varied HR role that requires a self motivated HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor to look after a well established HR function during a maternity period. You should be a confident communicator and be able to demonstrate a strong up to date understanding of Employment Law together with proven experience of handling staff grievances and disciplinaries. You will be a strong individual used to managing people and working closely with management throughout a business. A very confidential disposition is essential.
