Regional HR Manager

Salary: Salary up to £50,000 plus car/car allowance and bonus up to 50% of salary
Our client is a leading logistics business with an extensive network reaching all corners of the UK. With a turnover fast approaching £400m, an impressive portfolio of prestigious clients and ambitious growth plans for the future. They pride themselves on operating an honest, open and trustworthy approach. They have made significant progress in the past 6 months in streamlining their operating costs and are well positioned to take the business to the next level.
A position has arisen supporting the London region, with an employee base of 650, reporting into the HR Director. Your role will be to provide a consistent professional approach towards HR policies and procedures together with supporting the Regional Director in delivering his commercial objectives. This is a fast paced role and will encompass all the key HR activities including Employee Relations, Recruitment and Selection and working with the Training team to ensure competent performance across the region.
To be considered for this role you will need to be CIPD qualified or equivalent, have worked in a multi site operational HR role, be an excellent communicator and be flexible on working hours as this is a 24/7 business. Experience of blue collar workers is highly desirable together with some exposure to unions.
