Interim contract with potential to go permanent. Based South East.

An exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join an established but growing Motorcycle business, initially this is on an interim basis but has very strong potential to extend to a permanent career.

You will contribute towards ensuring maximum satisfaction with all European Customers on product availability by balancing factory production and logistics to make a fundamental impact on the whole European business. A fast moving, changeable market place will ensure you the challenging task of improving supply chain planning, order to Delivery and logistics planning to enhance overall sales performance.

With proven strong project management skills, you will be able to proactively investigate and identify current issues in the motorcycle supply chain in Europe and initiate creative solutions for implementation.

You should have experience of working as part of a small team with good knowledge of order to delivery process, logistics and demand and supply chain. It will be advantageous if you have worked in either the automotive or industrial equipment business sectors.

Meticulous and logical thinking, you will possess excellent numerical and logical analytics skills with very high levels of accuracy. A natural communicator with strong negotiation skills, excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to lead and motivate a small team.

Whilst supply chain management knowledge and experience is essential, TQM, Six Sigma or a Prince 2 qualification would all be useful but are not essential.
