The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to move from an HR administration role into an internal advisory position supporting a regional team.

 


The role will focus on:


First point of contact from operations within your assigned region in relation to general queries

Manage the AWOL process issuing stage letters, advise managers when meeting is adjourned

First point of contact for potential disciplinary's, co-ordinate relevant managers to hold meetings and HR Support where relevant.

Produce all letters in conjunction with the depot and relevant HR Personnel. Co-ordinate all casework

Draft redundancy announcement produced & create schedule for HR and Depot

Liaise with HR Admin team on Retirements and ensure 6 monthly review meetings are planned

Administer Probationary periods, ensure all are completed in a timely fashion from the depots and copies sent to Head Office

Support and chase non compliance in vetting

Produce monthly absence statistics and graphs

Attend field support work on a ad-hoc basis

Anticipate potential problems and make contingency arrangements



Skills needed



Knowledge of the disciplinary and grievance procedure

Understands the HR administration procedure

High level of integrity

Ability to learn quickly

Ability to cope with a changing environment

Strong desire to progress within HR

 


Working in a multi site environment you must be disciplined and be able to deal with multiple activities at any one point. Full training will be offered to the right caliber of candidates although an understanding of the principals of HR is crucial. For more details please apply immediately.
