News from Signet – what we are up to both in and out of the office…..

September has been a good month for the business; we have continued with our expansion and recruited Amy Finnemore into the business.  Amy is new to the world of recruitment but is settling in exceptionally well and is already meeting clients and candidates.  She is also a bit of a Tennis star and the whole team wishes her luck in Sundays Bucks Mixed Knockout Senior Cup.

Other exciting news includes our new account manager Jon recently getting down on bended knee and proposing to his girlfriend.  Luckily she said yes and everyone at Signet looks forward to joining Jon on his stag do later in the year.

The market continues to show signs of delicate recovery on the permanent side and our temporary division, headed up by Andrea, continues to grow from strength to strength and we are close to achieving record numbers of interim candidates out working through Signet.

Running fever seems to have struck the office with our finance consultant Alex signing up to run the Reading half marathon in April and Jane finding out she has a place in the London marathon, however she has not actually confirmed that she is going to run it yet but we are sure if she doesn’t Wayne our HR consultant will happily take her place at the starting line.

Cake has been heavily consumed in the office with Alex, Gwen, Heather, Bill and Jane all turning a year older, with that many Virgo’s in one place you will imagine that we would be incredibly organised with an exceptionally tidy work environment, well we try!

In terms of business all the consultants and resourcers have been working incredibly hard to fill all the positions we are working on currently, but Tracey has had an exceptional month giving the candidates she is working with outstanding service and helping them find new roles.

We are still recruiting for two more people to join our team, we need a service driven consultant who wants to exceed customer expectations and we need a quality driven resourcer who is focused on ensuring our candidates have an excellent experience when they work with Signet.
